With Profit Bonds

The popularity of these bonds has fallen drastically over the past two years driven by a dramatic fall in bonus rates. To exacerbate matters, many investors who have decided to withdraw, are deterred by high exit penalties known as Market Value Reductions (MVR's).

Existing investors are generally in a quandary - should they remain in these bonds? Should they sell? Should investors with guaranteed MVR free anniversary dates hold on to maturity?
